Pure Excitement
It has been 4 years since my dear Hutch died of Leukemia. He was my only son and I was completely devastated at the thought of no one having to call me Mama anymore.
Finally, after all these years of trying, I finally saw the 2 lines on a pregnancy test I bought from the pharmacy.
Last weekend I was hospitalized due to Hemorrhagic cystitis. Pain was unbearable but what even got me too worried was the fact that I was in my early stage of pregnancy.
I was recommended to be confined and also to take a Transvaginal Ultrasound to check on the baby. This confirmed my preganancy of 6 weeks. Although the baby's heart was a little slow the technician told it was normal, however the outcome showed that I had a blood clot next to my baby which could lead to threatened abortion.
I'm not having that... not after 4 years.
So here I am a week off work.. trying to battle boredom ... I am so excited for my first official pre-natal check up.
