Advice For Nauseous Pregnant Mommies

So I had my first pre-natal check up today and I can telll you that I had the worst jeepney ride ever! I was nauseous and it was a terrible feeling with sweat all over my brow.


All new expectant moms feel morning sickness, nausea and even vomiting, unless you are very much lucky to have skipped that phase. Even in my first pregnancy I went through the same ordeal thus making me drop out of college.

Well, i hate nausea and I have wanting to get it out of my systems for the past 2 weeks.

So far I have found the following to relieve me of nausea, might help others:

  1. Sipping on ice chips.
  2. Taking small bites of plain soda crackers.
  3. Eating fresh sweet fruits like ripe mangoes.

As my OB-gyne said i should avoid caffeine and if everything else fails then intake of Bonamine for kids is allowable. Take note "for kids", so dosage is pretty low but you take a tablet 3 times a day.

An anti-emetic drug is the last resort however should be prescribed by your OB-Gyne.
